You can keep using Outlook, Thunderbird, Evolution or Apple mail without changing your habits but benefiting from the centralised storage of your e-mails and the possibility of sharing e-mail folders with your colleagues.

Has it ever happened to you that you lost all your e-mails when your PC crashed or it has been infected by a virus? You can also change your colleague's appointment knowing that their agenda will be synchronised with their smarphones being it iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, etc... or with their iPad or other types of tablet PCs.

The address book allows you to manage the contact details of your customers, suppliers and friends. You can use categories to organise your contacts and distribution lists to send e-mails to large number of contacts with a click.

Sharing the contact details increases efficiency as it allows each member of your team to get in touch with customers and suppliers when needed without having to look for information in several places.

Using public folders contacts can be grouped in separate folders with several levels of access rights so that each member of the team can view or modify only the contacts for which they have been given permissions.

Apart from setting up appointments in the calendar you can also create tasks with deadlines and alarms. You can attach documents,  assign tasks to your colleagues and check the progress.

Tasks can be used to track the progress of simple collaborative activities. They can be assigned to several users, documents and items from other Zarafa's services can be attached and the progress of each task can be monitored.

Too many message to reply to?
Even e-mails can be used to create a task. Just right click on the e-mails and select "Create task from e-mails" so you won't forget about them.

Wherever you are, if you have a PC connected to Internet and a web browser, you can access all the information you may need just by connecting to your Auxilio Server.
As you may not always have access to a PC you can also synchronise your smartphone or tablet PC and take the data you need with you.
You can synchronise your iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile based phones or your Blackberry whenever you have an Internet connection available. Naturally also iPad and Android based tablet PCs are also supported natively.

If your smartphone is lost or you accidentally deleted some data, which is safely saved on your Auxilio Collaboration Server, it can be quickly restored. If your lost device is found and used by unauthorised personnel as soon as it connects to the Internet will receive a command that will erase its memory making it unusable and so avoiding data leakages.
